In a new video series, created by Vanity Fair, Keira Knightley can be seen reenacting the famous scene from When Harry Met Sally, in which Sally shows Harry that women always fake orgasms (if you need us to jog your memory, see the original here), with Judi Dench offering up the punch line (“I'll have what she's having”).
The premise of the collection of shorts is a tongue-in-cheek look at how many of the biggest roles in Hollywood are won by British actors. Essentially, it's the British Invasion of Hollywood.
Shot by photographer Jason Bell, he apparently took various different classic movie scenes to The Imitation Game star, but she immediately said that “It’s the orgasm we’ve got to do”.
On the subject of shooting the whole film, Jason said: “Once you had Keira Knightley faking an orgasm and Judi Dench saying ‘I’ll have what she’s having,’ it was a pretty easy sell. Everyone just said, ‘Sure, what do you want me to say?’ ”
But not only do we get to see Keira, there's also Benedict Cumberbatch stripping off (calm down ladies), Michelle Dockery saying the immortal words Lauren Bacall uttered in To Have And Have Not (“you know how to whistle don't you?”), as well as Felicity Jones and Tom Hiddleston playing Bonnie and Clyde.
The British Invasion of Hollywood is complete.
