In a hilarious one-to-one chat, Clarkson and Aguilera bonded over the perils of taking their children on tour, their love of 90s music, and the art of mastering a selfie. As a massive Christina Aguilera fan, Clarkson couldn’t disguise her love for the vocal legend, as the pair chatted about Aguilera’s self-titled debut album.

“One of the reason I love and have covered a lot your songs,” Clarkson began, “honestly is because for females, you have such an amazing catalogue, your empowerment level of females especially is so cool.”

Aguilera, who is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her No. 1 album Christina Aguilera, which spwaned hits such as Genie in a Bottle and What a Girl Wants, then explained that she had always aspired to empower people with her music.
