The site revealed that Washington gave birth to her son on 5 October.
And, much as she did with her daughter Isabelle, the actress opted for an old-fashioned name for her little boy: Caleb Kalechi Asomugha.
The name Caleb, according to Nameberry, is a Hebrew one meaning “devotion to God”.
It’s proven to be a popular baby name choice for the general public, sitting in the Top 40 list since 2000.
This may have something to do with the fact that numerous celebrities are fans of the Old Testament name, with both Julianne Moore and Bo Brice choosing it for their own celebrity offspring.

Washington is famed for keeping her private life just that – private.
However, in a rare interview about motherhood with the Los Angeles Times, she said: “I will say I feel really, really blessed.
“I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life.”
She added that she would not be answering questions on the concept of work-life balance, echoing her previous comments to Glamour in 2013.
“I have girlfriends in this business who talk about their personal lives, and it works for them, and I love it. But not for me.
"I learned through experience that it doesn't work for me to talk about my personal life.”
