Lady Gaga just went hiking in heels, proving that she really isn't like the rest of us

Ah, Gaga.

We’ve become accustomed to your wild antics and statement-making fashion choices over the years. From the infamous meat dress to the machine gun bra, we thought we’d seen it all.

But, never one to rest on her laurels, the singer might have just trumped the lot.

Heading to the great outdoors for a hike with her boyfriend, talent agent Christian Carino, Lady Gaga chose to bring the glamour in some of her finest garbs.

Decked out in an asymmetrical black crop top, a black maxi skirt split to the thigh and a pair of skyscraper Louboutins, Gaga certainly hit the trail in style.

While the rest of us mere mortals would pull on a pair of old leggings and sensible trainers (or hiking boots, if you’re really serious about it) and still complain of sore feet or lament the steep incline, Gaga shimmied along in a look that only a ‘cocktail attire’ invite would warrant.

Even more intriguing is the fact that while her boyfriend, dressed in much more familiar hiking gear, shows signs of physical exertion, the singer appears to be taking it in her stride (sorry) and doesn’t even look to be breaking a sweat.

As one Twitter user was quick to point out, it’s not as though the singer isn’t regularly seen in the kind of thing one might deem more appropriate for anything more than a jaunt to a taxi.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that the songstress has taken to the trail in her stilettos. The star’s ex-boyfriend revealed to Glamour back in 2014 that he was “always giving her flak, like, ‘Babe, you can't wear your heels when we're hiking.’”

But Lady Gaga does as Lady Gaga wants.

And if she can do it in those heels, we salute her.
