Ever since she first hit our screens as the voluptuous and steely Joan Holloway in Mad Men, Christina Hendricks secured a place in history as a bona fide style icon.
There's something irresistibly appealing about her poise, her hourglass glamour and her implacable determination as the office doyenne of Ad Land.
So when the 39-year-old actress shares her tips on the go-to places in London, we sit up and take notice.
Hendricks - who is celebrating the finale of the hit series, set in 1960s New York - has revealed her favourite bars, shops and restaurants across the capital.
The red-headed star lives with her husband Geoffrey Arend in Hell's Kitchen, New York, but used to work in London as a model during her twenties.
And it seems her time in London has given Christina a host of knowledge on the best, most stylish hot spots.
Her recommendation for an intimate first date? "J Sheekey for the perfect balance of casual and elegant," she says. "Pull up a stool at the bar and feast on champagne and oysters."
As far as partying is concerned, the actress is a big fan of "Soho House or Shoreditch House, which is equally beautiful and does comfy very well".
Her favourite bar is Loungelover on Whitby Street. "I order a spicy tequila or a Smoky Martini," she reveals.
For secret gems, she tends towards the east of London, recommending "Androuet, an incredible fondue restaurant in Spitalfields, and The Ten Bells pub opposite, which was once the haunt of Jack the Ripper".
And it seems the Tennessee-born actress has very British drinking habits at heart.
Asked about the first thing to do in London, she says: "Have a nap, followed by a pint of cider at The Coach & Horses pub in Soho. I love the atmosphere and the crowd of regulars. On my most recent visit, though, it had been invaded by hipsters."
Moving over to shopping, and Christina proves herself a true pro by mixing designer with high street.
"Vivienne Westwood is a dear friend so I always go to her stores for separates," she says. "Whistles for simple designs in quality fabrics. Accessorize for rings, socks and gifts. The Harrods Food Hall - I can spend all afternoon browsing the fish counter and baked goods, it’s all eye candy for me."
The final seven episodes of the seventh series of Mad Men begin on Sky Atlantic on 9 April.
Christina recently declared herself happy with the show's ending, telling Late Night host Seth Meyers, "I’m really pleased with it".
She described the wrapping of the critically acclaimed series, which premiered in 2007, as a "long, emotional day" for the cast and crew. She said they toasted, partied and cried until the early hours.
