What will the presenter, 23, make of our existential questions?
What is the meaning of life?
If I knew the meaning of life, I would be some G-ed up oracle woman who sat and gave advice to everybody. But I’m just not.
What is the difference between right and wrong?
When you do something wrong you learn from it, when you do something right you know you’re doing it right and move forward.
Where is your happy place?
A Sunday when I don’t have any work and I’m on the sofa. I don’t have to get dressed or do my make-up and hair so I can just lie down and order food. I’d be watching Ex On The Beach USA – it’s so much more dramatic than the UK version.
Nature or nurture?
A blend of both.
Is it more important to be liked or respected?
Probably respected over liked. You might not like me but you’ve got to respect what I’m doing. You’re never going to be liked by everybody.
If you could be remembered for one thing what would it be?
Helping people and changing their lives for the better. I haven’t helped that many people in my life so far in terms of strangers. So I would like to be remembered for that but I need to start doing it [laughs].
Who or what is your greatest love?
White wine. No – I’ve got loads of loves. My family, my friends, my boyfriend. My bed.
When did you last lie?
Probably yesterday. I said I couldn’t get somewhere because I was doing something but I actually needed more time to get ready.
Does the supernatural exist?
I think so. There’s stuff that goes on. I’d never try a ouija board because I think something will happen.
Are you fatalistic?
What does that mean? [Stylist explains]. Yeah I am.
What is your greatest fear?
Having lots of regrets. Looking back and wishing I’d done lots of things I haven’t. But so far I don’t have any.
Animals or babies?
Animals. I’ve had animals, I haven’t had a baby so I relate to them more [laughs].
What talent do you yearn for?
To be able to sing. I’ve had so many dreams that I was a popstar. I just want to be an amazing singer who makes people cry with my voice, but it’s never going to happen.
Do you like to be complimented?
Little ones but not loads because you get awkward and shy. If someone says, “Oh, you look nice today”, that’s fine, but if they say, “Oh my god, you look so good”, you’re like “Thanks…” [mimes awkward gesture].
Do you have a high pain threshold?
I used to. I had my tongue pierced, all up my ears, my nose I’ve had pierced about 17 times. I’ve had my belly button pierced twice. But that was when I was younger and I loved piercings and tattoos. I haven’t done anything that hurts for ages.
What book do you recommend most to others?
The Secret [by Rhonda Byrne]. If you’re a worrier or you stress out a lot, it teaches you to change your thought process, not think about the bad stuff and focus on the good things. So I think it’s good for anyone to take a little leaf out of.
Which lesson has been the hardest to learn?
Learning to swallow my pride. I find it hard to say sorry, especially when I don’t think I’m wrong.
What food sums up happiness?
Burger and chips with ketchup and mayo. But I have mustard on the chips, which is not everyone’s choice.
What have you never understood?
People who go out of their way to be horrible to other people.
What is the one thing you want to know before you die?
That the family who are still there when I go are going to be looked after.
Are you scared of dying or what happens when you die?
A little bit. I don’t think about it very much though. There’s no point in me sitting here and trying to work out what exact process happens or how long it takes for your soul to leave your body when it’s just not happening yet.
Quinoa or Quavers?
I hate quinoa. Quavers.
True Love Or True Lies? is on MTV nightly at 9pm
