Peaches Geldof: life in photos

Published

With the tragic news of Peaches Geldof's death yesterday aged 25, we remember the celebrity commentator and mother-of-two in photos. The daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, Peaches has been in the spotlight from an early age and her childhood was captured on camera via family outings with her dad and sisters Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Lily. The teenager left home aged 16 and was increasingly photographed on the red carpet at showbiz events and fashion shows, as she carved out a multidimensional career as a model, writer, TV presenter and musician.

After the birth of her son Astala Dylan Willow in 2012, Peaches threw herself into being a mum. In place of red carpet photos, she took to her own Twitter and Instagram feeds to chart the way in which she was embracing family life with her rock musician husband Thomas Cohen, Astala and their second child Phaedra Bloom Forever (as well as their dog Parpy).

Come take a look at Peaches' life in photos, from fresh-faced toddler to beautiful mum-of-two:

A statement issued by Bob Geldof and her family read: "What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof."
