As mentioned above, Baby, It’s Cold Outside has been called out over the last couple of years for its problematic lyrics, mainly because the story features a man refusing to let a woman go home – even going to the extreme of supposedly slipping “something” into her glass. Legend and Clarkson’s rerecord simply aims to give the song a modern clean-up by tweaking the lyrics accordingly, but apparently that was too much for Morgan.

“She’s awful, absolutely awful – she’s behind this,” Morgan continued in his rant about Teigen. “She’s Miss Wokeville on Twitter. She’s got a hold of poor old Legend, who used to be great, and now he’s re-writing one of the classics of Christmas.

“Why? Why? Who wanted this re-written? What a load of nonsense.”
