It’s official: the Netflix phenomenon has been renewed for two more seasons.
On 19 June, the official Queer Eye social media account confirmed that season four will be released on Friday 19 July with eight brand new episodes. And apparently we’re in for some “big surprises” along the way, too.
That’s right: the Fab Five have clicked their ruby slippers and they will be returning to BBQ capital Kansas City to bring their infectious brand of self-love, confidence and encouragement to a whole new roster of heroes.
Once again, Tan France will take fashion, Jonathan Van Ness beauty, Karamo Brown culture, Antoni Porowski food and wine, and Bobby Berk home renovations. And we’ve no doubt that, once again, their empathy and strong attitudes will inspire positive change in all they meet.
There is no trailer for Queer Eye’s fourth season just yet, but there is a small promo.
Check it out:
The third season of Queer Eye, which came out earlier this year in March, followed the Fab Five from Atlanta, Georgia to Kansas City.
There, the team worked on their first duo-makeover with barbecue star sisters ‘Little’ and ‘Shorty’, helped a man down the aisle, and introduced Queer Eye’s new member, a French bulldog named Bruley.
The team also filmed a special in Japan earlier this year, Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!, which is reportedly coming soon.
But what of Queer Eye’s elusive fifth season?
Well, Netflix has now confirmed that it has ordered a fifth season that will start production on 24 June 2019.
It will see the Fab Five head east to Philadelphia, and is expected to debut in 2020.
