The actress will be teaming up with The Hunger Games director Gary Ross, and be heading up an all-female cast of the crime thriller.

Perhaps its a nod to the growing criticism of inequality in Hollywood, but we're already excited about it and we don't know who else will make up the cast.

As the rumour mill turns, some are speculating that Ross will bring in his previous leading lady, Jennifer Lawrence. And given that the Clooney reboot of the 60s film had an impressive cast list, we're expecting big things.

Ocean's Eleven will be the second all-female movie to come out in recent times, with Ghostbusters on it's way too.
