Scarlett Johansson has kept up a hectic schedule of movie roles and promotional tours since welcoming her daughter Rose Dorothy in 2014. And in a new interview she made it clear that time spent with her daughter, particularly nursing her, is what helps Johansson thrive at work.

In an interview with E! she talked about the “grounding” effect of breastfeeding after a day at work on the set of her latest movie, Ghost In The Shell.

“That is a very grounding [thing, to nurse],” she said. “If you ever needed to return to yourself, that is a pretty wonderful way to come back to yourself when you go home.”

She then added, “You have to leave all that work stuff behind and be able to present with your kid. I am very thankful that’s my reality at the end of the day.”
