There are probably thousands of men out there waiting to hear what exactly constitutes Scarlett Johansson's idea of an ideal man.
Now the actress, who is currently single, has finally obliged with an admission that she goes for bad boys.
"I'm attracted to the quality of being adventurous and perhaps a bit mischievous and also questioning authority and being proactive," Scarlett, 27, told Cosmopolitan in its January issue.
"If that makes up a quintessential bad boy, then whatever," she went on. "I'm not at all attracted to meanness or bullying, but I do think conviction is attractive. I mean, really, who doesn't?"
The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star, who has signed up to three movies next year including The Avengers, filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Ryan Reynolds, in December 2010.
She has since been linked to Sean Penn and The Dark Knight Rises actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Scarlett also opened up on the topic of social media in the magazine interview, saying she would never sign up to the "strange phenomenon" of Twitter or Facebook.
"I don't have a Facebook or a Twitter account," she said. "And I don't know how I feel about this idea of, 'Now I'm eating dinner, and I want everyone to know that I'm having dinner at this time,' or 'I just mailed a letter and dropped off my kids.'
"That, to me, is a very strange phenomenon. I can't think of anything I'd rather do less than have to continuously share details of my everyday life.
"I guess (people) use it in a way that works for them. But I'd rather that people had less access to my personal life. If I could keep it that way, I'd be a happy lady."
