Shappi Khorsandi is the latest high-profile masochist to put herself through the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! wringer. Landing in Australia yesterday, the stand-up comedian and author joked that her “ideal man” for a jungle romance would be “one who has snuck a mobile phone in”.

For the sake of all of us stuck at our desks and looking for distraction, we have to really hope she finds the rule-breaker of her dreams. Because Khorsandi is officially one of the most sparkling voices on Twitter: when Stylist ran a poll to find the funniest British woman cracking jokes on the social media site, she ranked in the top 10, alongside Caitlin Moran and Stylist columnist Lucy Mangan.

Khorsandi often tweets about her kids, and her attitude to parenting is one we can definitely get on board with.
