Then, Witherspoon takes us outside where there's a blue mosaic pool, four sun loungers and a large picnic table, where she hosts pool parties every weekend. She serves iced tea (her grandmother's recipe) and her Oscar statue (which she won for her role as June Carter in Walk the Line) sits in a bucket of ice next to the pitcher.

She then leads us into another section of her garden where a hammock hangs from trees and a giant trampoline sits in the grass. Of course, the fun-loving star takes a few jumps mid-interview.

Among her answers, Witherspoon revealed her favorite restaurant (The Ivy at The Shore in Santa Monica), favourite holiday destination (France), the country she'd like to visit (Venezuela), the first thing she thinks about in the morning (coffee) and the Instagram account everyone should follow (@tunameltsmyheart)

She also said if there were a yearbook for Hollywood, she would be named "Life of the Party" and if she were a rapper her stage name would be "Little Spoon".

The star also revealed the TV show she'd love to make a cameo appearance on, Girls, but her all-time favourite television show is Mad Men.
