What accents can you do? We're dreadful at doing Scouse, and don't even get us started on our Geordie. We can do a fail-safe Yorkshire (we learnt from those O2 ads, thanks for that Sean Bean), but we definitely can't do Welsh.

Thankfully, we don't have to be adept at mimicking regional voices for our job, otherwise that might be a little tricky. Even when it is part of your occupation to be good at that stuff, sometimes it's pretty hard to show you're up to the job. Josh Harnett in the film Blow Dry and Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins are both prime examples of accents gone wrong.

One man who is very good at doing more than a few accents is a chap named Andrew Jack, a dialect coach, who can do numerous accents from all over the British Isles. Starting with Received Pronunciation, which is the way the Queen speaks, he then heads over to the West Country, Yorkshire, Lancashire, before moving onto Ireland, Scotland and finishing on Wales.

His impressions, we're sure you'll agree, are uncanny and we imagine it would take great skill and practice to do such a great job. It's no surprise then that he's a leading dialect coach in the UK and the States.
