Netflix's first costume drama The Crown is set to go live in 190 countries on November 4. And with overwhelming anticipation for the streaming service's Queen Elizabeth II biopic, its production team has revealed they've already "mapped out" the story lines for a further two series.

Speaking to The Guardian, Andy Harries, the co-founder of Left Bank Pictures says the next two seasons are already plotted with story lines that trace the changing dynamic of the royal family right up until the late 1980s.

“There are so many things in [the next series] – Thatcher, Blair, Diana. But I’m sure Netflix will want to wait and see how this one goes first,” Harries said.
