It's been a whole 12 years since Destiny's Child released their final album, Destiny Fulfilled, and there's been a Bootylicious-shaped hole in our hearts ever since.

Thank goodness, then, for Kelly Rowland's 35th birthday, where all three members of the group finally reunited again for a night of partying.

Rowlands uploaded this snap of herself to Instagram with former bandmates, Beyonce and Michelle Williams, last Saturday night at her birthday bash in Hollywood.

Styled with a black and white filter, the image shows Rowlands in the middle of the trio wearing a floral Stella McCartney jumpsuit, while Beyonce is just visible under a hat and Williams keeps it casual in an on-trend, slogan tee.

Rowlands, who went on to have a successful solo career after Destiny's Child disbanded, also uploaded an image of herself sharing a moment with Williams, who took to her own Instagram feed to wish her "sister" a happy birthday.

Even Beyonce's mum, Tina Knowles, got in on the action, uploading these photos of herself with her daughters, including Solange Knowles, at the party to her Instagram page.

Destiny's Child were one of the defining bands of the nineties, selling over 60 million records worldwide and getting us all singing along to iconic hits including Bills, Bills, BillsSay My Name, Survivor and Independent Woman.

The band have reunited a number of times since splitting, singing in an epic, leather-clad performance at the 2013 Superbowl, while Beyonce and Rowlands lent their vocals to Williams' solo single, Say Yes, released in 2014.

Here's hoping for another lyrical reunion not too far in the future...
