Victoria Beckham may be famed for her impeccable style and serious facial expressions, but the former Spice Girl has proved once and for all that she knows how to have fun in this brilliant new clip from The Late Late Show.
Teaming up with James Corden, she’s spoofed the 1987 rom-com Mannequin, taking on the role of a plastic shop model who comes to life whenever Corden is alone.
“The world couldn’t understand their love,” announces the narrator. “Like, really couldn’t understand their love.
“No, seriously, they didn’t get it.”
Ignoring the stares of everyone around him, Corden rushes to help Beckham escape the drudgery of life in the shop basement, spiriting her away for a music-filled car journey across Los Angeles.
And the music in question? All Spice Girls hits, obviously.

It is, of course, a promo for Beckham’s stint on Carpool Karaoke.

From Michelle Obama, Adele, and Gwen Stefani, right up to Lady Gaga, Sia, and Jennifer Hudson, there’s no denying that James Corden has had some seriously badass women join him for his (now) iconic Carpool Karaoke.
But, tragically, he’s never been able to convince the Spice Girls to clamber into his car and unleash some serious #girlpower.
Well, until now that is.
Posh is back to spice up our lives in a very big way. And we couldn’t be more excited for her The Late Late Show appearance, which the 42-year-old also teased earlier in the week with a backstage peek into the filming.

The mum-of-four, of course, has a huge repertoire of songs to choose from, thanks to her days with the Spice Girls.
But it’s also worth remembering that Beckham – now a hugely respected fashion designer – also enjoyed a short-lived solo career of her own.
Remember this absolute gem?
It remains to be seen which songs Corden will throw at her, although it’s safe to say that they won’t be sticking to the confines of his Range Rover.
Beckham posted a photograph on Instagram post showing her and the former Gavin and Stacey star out in LA, captioning the shot: “What is so funny?”
We guess we’ll have to wait and find out – although, at the moment, there’s no word on when the segment is going to air on The Late Late Show.
While VB is undoubtedly a huge coup for Corden, he’s still yet to secure his dream guest.
But, speaking in a new interview with GQ, he let slip that it’s only a matter of time before he lands the one and only Queen Bey herself – Beyoncé.
“It would break the internet. She's on tour right now. We're working on it.”
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs Mondays through Thursdays at 12.37am ET on CBS in the US. Sky1 airs the show in the UK.
