Victoria Beckham is currently in the midst of her first trip to South Africa as a UN goodwill ambassador for AIDS charity UNAIDS and she's been logging her journey and time with women and children in the region on Twitter.

The fashion designer, mother and former Spice Girl, 40, posted an image of herself with a young baby and spoke of the work Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) has done, helping over 60,000 mothers give birth to HIV free babies in past three years.

She shared another image of herself speaking to a doctor in Soweto discussing the protection of babies against HIV and with community workers at Anova Health Institute, which provides support in HIV facilities across South Africa.

The star also tweeted a picture of herself doing graffiti on the wall of an education centre, writing, "Education + art = Aids free future".
