Actress Kristen Bell and her actor husband, Dax Shephard, appeared yesterday on Access Hollywood to debate the issue of the paparazzi taking images of children and became embroiled in a heated confrontation with two photographers.

In the impassioned discussion, Bell and Shepard ask the photographers if they thought it was morally correct to use images of the children of celebrities.

Rather than focusing on legal points, as technically the photographers are not breaking the law, the actors interrogated whether the photographers thought their actions were ethical.

At points the discussion becomes intense, with one photographer labeling Kristen 'hysterical' for fighting her corner.

Bell has been a staunch campaigner for the #NoKidsPolicy project that asks paparazzi not to take photos of celebrities' kids.

The campaign argues that just because adults are in the limelight, this doesn't justify photographers taking pictures of their children and then sell them onto magazines.

The Veronica Mars actress also says that she has been surrounded by paparrazi when she's leaving an airport and described the scene: “When I get off an airplane and it’s dark and I’m with my baby by myself it’s terrifying.”

She went onto to say that they do this despite the fact that she doesn't travel with an entourage and she finds it intimidating.

Photo agency owner Steve Ginsburg and celebrity reporter Christian Zimmerman were the men contributing to the debate for the photographers side, and conceded that better regulation needs to be put in place for photographers and agreed that swearing and shouting is not on.

However, they also made the point that magazines will still buy the pictures of a happy celebrity family as it's human nature that we're all interested in their lives.

The segment ends with the men suggesting that Bell and Dax are going about it the wrong way as they’ll never manage to get every photo agency in the world to agree to stop publishing the images.
