If you think you can mess with Madonna, then you better think again, because nothing stops this iconic performer from putting on a show.

Not even a complete cut of power at a colossal concert venue in Glasgow.

That’s right, on Sunday night (20 December) when the power went and the lights were lifted at the SSE Hydro venue during Madonna’s set, Madge refused to quit, storming her way through a performance of crowd-pleaser hit, Holiday.

It was the Rebel Heart tour, after all.

Alongside her team of energetic dancers, Madonna took to the stage to perform her encore, microphone in hand, although she couldn’t be heard throughout the arena.

But that didn’t matter, as the entire venue clapped and stopped their feet to beat, and sang along to every lyric, making it a memorable acoustic performance that has to be watched – whether you’re a fan of the boundary-pushing performer or not.

Many of her fans caught the moment on camera, so watch the epic performance here:

What a way to wrap up her European tour.  And after the show, she took to Instagram to say:

“We don't stop till its over Glasgow! Don't try to silence the Queen #rebelheartour.”

Message received, Madge.

It was originally thought the concert venue cut the power, as the concert began an entire 45 minutes late, running over schedule. However since SSE Hydro have made a statement saying the singer's own production team were responsible for disconnecting all the power.
