Watch new trailer for The Hunger Games 'Mockingjay'

Published

Can't wait to see Katniss Everdeen in the next installment of The Hunger Games trilogy? Well, we don't have any footage of actual Jennifer Lawrence in the upcoming film Mockingjay part 1, but we do have a brand new trailer to show you.

Much like the first teaser for the film, we're shown President Snow (or as we like to call him evil Father Christmas), giving an address to Panem.

In the previous announcement, Snow, played by Donald Sutherland, ominously warned that if citizens "resist the system" they'll starve themselves, and that "if you fight against it, it is you who will bleed". Creepy.

This time, Snow talks about unity and how the Capitol and the citizens are "bound together". Once again, he is flanked by Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) but this time he's got Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) next to him too.

She clearly isn't very happy about being there, as she glares into the camera, one hand on her hip. Tellingly, there are also soldiers standing guard on either side - perhaps a hint that the Capitol isn't as well protected from the Districts as Snow would like?

But unlike the first piece of propaganda, this one is suddenly interrupted by a pirate transmission by Beetee (who we first met in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) who announces that "the Mockingjay lives".

So while still don't get to see Katniss, we do get to know that she's alive. WE JUST GOT CHILLS.
