Editor-in-chief Miranda Hart gives a glimpse into how our special collector’s 200th issue edition was made…

Now. As EDITOR, it was up to me to decide on the content of this very special issue. I could do whatever I wanted. Well, with one stipulation: everything had to be written and produced by the very celebrities who have graced these pages before (I personally wanted to do 80 pages of spot the difference, but never mind).

So I put in some calls. Obviously everyone picked up immediately and I got this rabble on board. But throw a load of celebs together and you’ll have a circus on your hands. Just chit-chat, snacking, showing off and crazy dancing. Natch, I had to lay some ground rules. So, I put them to work on something totally outside their comfort zone. That’s why I’ve placed the lovely Nigella Lawson, most at home with her finger shoved suggestively into a panettone, in charge of the beauty pages, why music maestro Lauren Laverne is overseeing the kitchen, and why Yasmin Le Bon (Bon), who’s spent the last 30 years in front of the camera, is also firmly behind it. Aren’t I clever? I hereby declare it a collector’s edition. Here are some snaps from behind the scenes.

Don’t say I don’t treat you nicely.
