SKY OBLIGATORY TERMS

The Promoter shall administer the Competition and allocate the Prize as follows and shall ensure that the Competition Terms and Conditions shall contain terms that give effect to the Prize Conditions set out below. The Promoter shall ensure that all entrants to the competition are notified of and accept the Prize Conditions before entering the Competition and again before accepting a Prize.

The Competition shall open on 16th March 2016 until 13th April 2016
This promotion is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over only. Proof of age may be required. The Competition is not open to employees (or family members of employees) of any SKY UK LIMITED (“Sky”), companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies. The Promoter shall allow one entry per household only.

There is 1 prize package to be won (each a “Prize”). 1 winner will be allocated one Prize each. Each Prize includes the following:

1 x Sky’s Complete Bundle package consisting of:

Sky+HD box
Free standard installation provided by Sky subject to the Prize Conditions (as defined below);
1 x 12 month subscription to Sky’s full TV Complete Bundle package

The Prize will be subject to the Prize Conditions (as defined below)

The following terms shall apply to the Prize (the “Prize Conditions”):

If you are a winner and are new to Sky TV you will be required to enter into three subscription contracts (Sky digital, Sky+ and Sky+HD subscriptions for the minimum term of 12 months). After your 12 months’ free viewing, standard subscription charges will apply, unless you change your package, giving over 31 days’ notice, you will pay the prevailing price for the Complete Bundle (currently £71.25 pm [in the UK and €81 pm in the Republic of Ireland]). Sky+ subscription is free while you subscribe to Sky TV (otherwise £10 pm in the UK). Sky selects your equipment. You must be over 18 and resident in the United Kingdom. Unless you are already a Sky+ subscriber you will need Sky+HD

Professionally set up by Sky, even if you already have a minidish. Free standard installation will be provided by Sky, however costs apply for non-standard set-up. Your box must be connected to a fixed telephone line. You must get all consents required (e.g. landlord’s). Sky Box Office Movies, Stand-alone Premium Channels, and pay-per-view services and events are not included in the Prize and must be paid for separately. Prices, programmes/channels are subject to change. Existing Sky TV customers will receive a free Complete Bundle subscription [and a free Sky+HD box]. Multiscreen is not included in the prize.

There is no cash alternative to the Prize or any element thereof and unless agreed otherwise in writing the Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. Sky reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the Prize if a winner or a party authorised by the winner to act on their behalf, threatens or abuses a Staff employee or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner that Sky reasonably regards as inappropriate, offensive or unlawful.
Sky will contact the winner to arrange installation of the winner’s Prize. Winners must redeem the prize within a year. Winners who are in a current pay-TV contract with another provider may defer their Prize for a maximum of 12 months from the date of winning. If a winner does not redeem his/her Prize within 12 months from the date of winning, this could result in loss of the Prize. If the winner has a previous uncleared debt with Sky the winner will not be able to take up the Prize until this debt has been fully cleared.

Shortlist Terms

The competitions that we run through the Services are subject to the following rules (unless otherwise specified):

No purchase is necessary.

Only one entry is permitted per household via online route of entry, and no bulk or third party entries are permitted.

Competitions are open to all UK residents (over the age of 18 in alcohol, tobacco or travel-related competitions, and in other cases as stated) except our employees, the companies or organisations with whom the competition or offer is being run, their agents, or anyone directly connected with the promotion.

Proof of entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt of entry.

Shortlist Media Ltd and any associated promoters, bear no responsibility for any entry which is incorrectly submitted, lost, damaged, incomplete or received after the closing date.

The winner may be required to sign a statement proving their eligibility/liability.

The closing date for receipt of entries is midnight 13/04/16. The winner(s) will be drawn at random from all valid entries, and will be notified by email or phone within two weeks of the closing date.

Should the Prize Provider be unable to contact a winner within 14 days of the closing date, or if a winner is unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Detail of the winner(s) can be obtained by sending a SAE marked with the name of the competition to Shortlist Media Ltd, 26-34 Emerald Street, London WC1N 3QA, United Kingdom within 21 days of the closing date of the promotion.

Details of all entries will be kept on a database but will only be passed to third parties to enable analysis or the processing of the competition and prize fulfillment unless you specifically allow the data to be shared. This is the only occasion when another organisation apart from Shortlist Media will have access to your information. Data will only be shared with the competition partner when you consent to it by ticking the box on an offer or competition. The sponsor will be clearly named in the text next to the tick box and if the box is not ticked your data will not be shared. Any use will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

All entrants to competitions and offers are deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them, and agree to co-operate in any publicity that may arise which may include their name or image being used on websites, magazines or mobile services at any time as a result of the competition.

We reserve the right to disqualify or not award a prize to an entrant who in our opinion has not entered in to the spirit of these terms and conditions or the intention of the competition.
