According to dating app Wingman, this month marks the beginning of what it has termed ‘breakup season’, with the site seeing a 34% increase in new user sign-ups during the first half of September alone.

We know that September carries with it an innate sense of newness and the opportunity for reset. We re-evaluate our goals and declutter our wardrobes for the beginning of autumn, so it’s perhaps no wonder that so many of us also choose to re-evaluate our love lives as well.
