These are the 10 dreamiest (and most expensive) streets to live on in the UK

There’s nothing quite as much fun as window-shopping at a particularly fancy estate agents, in our opinion. You can press your nose up against the glass and spend ages poring over the luxury apartments, cavernous castles and genuine mansions on offer – and, when you eventually do manage to pull yourself away, you do so with big dreams and an untouched wallet (albeit an all-consuming sense of envy for how the “other half” live).

Now, though, our passion for unrealistic property browsing has been taken to new heights, as Zoopla has released a run-down of the most expensive streets to live on in the UK.

And, yes, all of them are in London. Go figure.

Sitting in the number one hot spot is the fittingly royal residence of Kensington Palace Gardens in West London, which, if you plan on calling it home, will set you back a cool £35,696,711.

If the above suggestion might be ever-so-slightly out of your budget, why not try the least expensive street on the list, Chester Square in South West London? You can save yourself a casual £25 million with a house in this location for the bargain price of  £10,630,003.

What a steal, eh?

Call it what you will, aspiration or torture, for those of you that love to dream big join us in ogling over the dreamiest streets in the UK...
