But what if a single word could describe the many peaks and pits of love?

British illustrator Emma Block has hunted down 29 words and phrases used around the world that perfectly summarise various emotions in relationships, but can't be translated into English.

And for that reason, the Middlesex University graduate has depicted each one of the words in a series of lovely little illustrations that were first featured on diamond manufactures' website Vashi.com.
