Virgin Atlantic is helping passengers cure their fear of flying with their intuitive called Screw It, Let’s Do It.

Boarding a plane and jetting off to a hot, sunny, sandy location is something most of us work hard all year round to afford.

But, for some, the reality of taking flight can be too much to bear.

Which is why Virgin Atlantic has launched Screw It, Let’s Do It in the hope of helping passengers cure their phobia of flying. Anyone who books a flight with the airline today (Tuesday 9 January) will be given a free place on their Flying Without Fear course.

But, don’t hang about as it’s a one-day offer only and the course normally costs £250.

Is it time to face your fear and fly?

The only catch? The flight you pick needs to be booked between 4 March and 31 December. After you’ve booked it, email your details to and they’ll confirm a place for you on the course.

And the best part? If you’ve not conquered your fear before you’re due to take flight Virgin Atlantic will refund your fare.

“Hopefully by guaranteeing to cure people of one of the main things holding them back, we can inspire Britain to choose something more positive than the clichéd Blue January nonsense. Nothing should hold anyone back from seizing the day in 2018,” said Shai Weiss, chief commercial officer at Virgin Atlantic.

With four in ten people missing out on jetting off to exotic locations due to their phobia (according to YouGov), a little help could go a long way.

You can book your flight here.
