Travelling to America or Canada just became super affordable.
From Bahrain to Turkey, there is a lot of choice out there for places to go see in 2018. But, if you’re a bargain hunter with a love for all things American and Canadian, then your summer vacation might just now be set.
Thanks to budget airline Primera Air, the reality of hopping on a transatlantic journey from the UK to America or Canada just became affordable with the introduction of £99 flights.
The price – less than even the usual taxes – is to celebrate the Nordic airline’s UK launch with the introduction of routes to New York, Boston, Toronto or Washington D.C.
Like all good bargains, there is one small catch: only 99 flights for £99 will be released and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Valid for travel between 19 April 2018 and 9 December 2018, the tickets will go on sale from 9am on 22 March 2018.
Flying from London’s Stanstead Airport, the £99 one-way fares are available on the ‘Light’ travel package which includes a seat, 10kg hand luggage and no additional charges. But, the package doesn’t include inflight entertainment.
And don’t despair if you luck out on the 22 March: the airline’s New York flights will launch in April, followed by the Boston and Toronto routes in May and the Washington D.C. in August, starting from an affordable £149 one-way.
You can purchase a ticket (if you’re lucky!) here on 22 March.
