Most summer internships involve endless tea rounds, data entry and the occasional “exciting” research task.

This one features sun-dabbled beaches in exotic locations and the opportunity to party ‘til dawn.

Thomson Scene – a company that specialises in “grown-up party holidays” – wants to pay four candidates to travel to a series of its hottest destinations this summer.

The three-month gig will require self-styled “creatives” to jet across the globe, visiting the likes of Greece, Croatia, Mexico and the Balearic Islands, and telling stories as they go.

“You’ll be creating content which will inspire others to travel the world,” the enticing job ad reads. “You’ll be up for an adventure, ticking off destinations like Ibiza and Cancun, and you’ll have a way of creating a buzz around the stories you tell.

“So whether you’re a vlogger, music producer, graphic designer, Instagrammer or photographer we want to hear from you.”

The handful of applicants who land the coveted roles will merely be required to party in various far-flung beach hubs and then capture their adventures in “a fresh and exciting way”.

Sounds tough, doesn’t it?

“This is an incredible opportunity for the summer,” says Amanda Lakin, head of brand marketing for Thomson and First Choice. “What better way to spend three months whether you have finished school or university for the year or you just fancy a new challenge?

“Not only will it be an all-expenses paid trip to some of the hottest ticket summer destinations, but it's also a way to gain some valuable work experience creating content for a well-known brand and the chance to further build your social media profile along the way.”

If you’re keen to land a paid-for summer holiday that lasts for months on end, all you need to do is record a short and snappy phone video that showcases your creative prowess and upload it here.

Hurry though; the gig ends on Sunday 23 April.
