Are you partial to a gin and tonic, but fed up of drinking your favourite tipple within the four walls of ordinary old bars? We hear you.

Luckily, there's a solution: a gin bus is coming to London, and you'll soon be able to sip gin and tonics to your heart's delight as you cruise around the capital.

Hot on the heels of the release of Hot Cross Bun Gin last Easter, and the news that a four-floor gin hotel is opening in November, the gin bus is the latest (and some might say greatest) way to imaginatively enjoy our favourite spirit.

Officially named the Hendrick’s Extraordinary Roving Bus for Exceptionally Refined Travel, or H.E.R.B.E.R.T., the gin bus will be a unique double-decker bus designed to resemble – wait for it – a giant cucumber.

Tickets for travel will cost £2.50 and, once on board, you can have your fill of Hendrick's gin and tonic, gin cocktails and even cucumber macaroons.

The gin bus will be operating in the capital 21–29 July and be open for service from 4pm to 9pm daily (except Mondays).

You can hop on board at any of the following stops: Victoria Street, Westminster (SW1E 5NT), Southbank (SE1 8XT), Theobalds Road, Holborn (WC1X 8SP) and Euston Road, Kings Cross (NW1 2SX).

Buy your tickets here and get ready for the ride of a lifetime.

(And if you don't live in London, you can still indulge: check out our feature on the best ways to enjoy gin throughout the UK here. Don't say we never give you anything.)
