Discover where to celebrate Bonfire Night 2019 with our complete guide to firework displays in London.

Bang! Pop! Wizz! No, we’re not eating a bowl of Rice Krispies, we’re just getting excited about the sparkliest, most dazzling evening of the year: Bonfire Night.

And there really are so many reasons to get excited. The opportunity to wear a scarf and don your new autumnal boots, the smell of hot dogs in the air and the general cosiness of it all make Bonfire Night one of the most atmospheric occasions of the season.

Although many of the displays took place over the weekend, the big date itself is still to come, meaning there are still a few places you can go and stare into the sky until your neck hurts.

See below for the firework displays and Bonfire Night events happening on the 5 November in London that you can still attend.

  • Southwark Fireworks Night at Southwark Park

What to expect: One of London’s largest fireworks displays with one of the largest crowds, too. 30,000 people come to see the fireworks in Southwark park, as well as experience the street food, drinks on offer and fun fair.

When is it: 5 November, gates open at 5pm with last entry at 6pm.

  • Wimbledon Park Fireworks Display at Wimbledon Park

What to expect: There’s some exciting stuff going on for 2019’s show including the introduction of fire and light performers, Flame Oz and Halo, who will be ‘warming up’ the crowd before the fireworks. There’ll also be street food, refreshments and a fun fair. There will be two displays taking place on the night: at 6.45pm, there will be a The Greatest Showman-themed show. The second, at 8.30pm, will take inspiration from outer space.

When is it: 5 November, gates open at 5.15pm.

Where is it: Wimbledon Park, Home Park Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 8AU.

    How much is it: £10.

  • Fireworks Spectacular at Waltham Forest
