Build your wedding gift list piece by piece

Published

You want a wedding gift list but you have enough white goods and soft furnishings to keep you cosy for the next century and you’d prefer not to request cold hard cash from your nearest and dearest.

The answer? Patchwork Present, a piece-by-piece gift scheme, which allows your wedding guests to buy a small part of a larger present. 'Patchworks’ can be created for any concept for any celebration. Honeymoons are popular for weddings, allowing guests to buy small contributions to the overall holiday such as, boat trips, massages, a night in a hotel and transport. Other patchworks have been designed for dream kitchens, allowing guests to buy everything from the taps to the extractor fan, and a campervan patchwork allowed guests to buy gears for £10 and windows for £50.

Creating your personal Patchwork is easy: select images from the library, or supply your own, then price up the individual parts of the patchwork. You must have a Paypal account to receive payments but buyers can pay as ‘guests’, sidestepping the Paypal sign-up process. The charge to use the service is a 3% commission.
