Tailoring "Jerry's suit is from the Savile Row collection at Marks & Spencer and my dress is a mash-up of different bits ranging from Dalston Market, vintage and ASOS. I knew that I didn't want a traditional dress - I tried on several but they didn't feel like 'me'. I didn't have a massive budget and I had become overwhelmed with looking at images: they all looked the same and I didn't want to. My friend gave me her veil, which was lovely and I was honoured to wear it, although I altered that as well. For our shoes, we took ourselves of to Selfridges shoe halls. It's the only thing we bought together; we had no prefixed ideas but really like shopping together so helped each other choose."

Who did your catering? "AMPM. They were based at the venue we hired and they did a great job."

Who made your wedding cake? "My parents! We gave them a brief and colours to go with and left them to it. I knew if my mum made it, it would taste good and with so little time, it was another decision of our hands!"

What was your first dance song? "Bill Withers' Lovely Day, but our second dance was just as important: we went for Lionel Ritchie's All Night Long. It's really fun - everyone loves to sing along and make the words up to the lyrics. I really took a step back at this point and looked at everyone having a good time. We also hired an amazing gospel choir for the church, which made a massive difference. Everyone said it was the most joyful, uplifting wedding service they had been to."
