It was back in May of this year that we first launched the Stylist Hair Equality Initiative, to ensure all women, no matter what their hair type, can walk into their high street salon and get a quality cut, advice and service. Since then, we’re delighted that a total of 12 salons around the country have signed up, including Daniel Galvin and Paul Edmond’s London salon, all taking our pledge to; make it clear in-store and online that the salon can serve afro-haired customers; never to charge more for a service on an afro-haired customer; and ensure all communications, including social media, menus and shoots are ethnically diverse and representative of the UK’s population.

And this week, in celebration of World Afro Day on 15 September ( #worldafroday) we’re joining forces with them to offer you some amazing treats, from free haircuts to Stylist beauty desk approved products. You’re welcome…
