2018 marks 100 years since some women gained the right to vote in the UK, but still women around the world are four times more likely than men to be abused, intimidated and prevented from voting. In parts of Pakistan, female voter turnout was reported to be as low as 3% in recent elections.
Virgin Sport and UN Women National Committee UK are asking you to join these influential figures to be part of the change, supporting UN Women’s work to give women around the world the ability to participate in elections, run for office, and exercise their fundamental right.
